WHAT WE BELIEVE
GOD
We believe there is one perfect God revealed in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 5:48, Matthew 28:19)
JESUS
We believe Jesus is God’s Son, both human and divine. He died on the cross and rose again to take our punishment for sin. He is now in heaven and will come again. (Philippians 2:6–11, Luke 1:34–38, 1 Peter 3:18, Hebrews 2:9, Romans 5:9, Acts 2:23–24, Hebrews 8:1, Matthew 26:64)
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is God and is sent to guide believers and to convict the world of sin. (John 14:15–18, John 16:13; Acts 1:8, John 16:7–11)
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Old and New Testaments, perfect as originally given, were inspired by God and shows His design and plan for mankind. (2 Peter 1:20–21; 2 Timothy 3:15–16)
SALVATION
Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for everyone. Those who repent and believe in Him have a restored relationship with God both here on earth and for eternity. (Titus 3:4–7)
SANCTIFICATION
It is the will of God that every believer should be separated from sin and live a life fully dedicated to Him. This is a lifelong process of becoming more like Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:23, Acts 1:8, Romans 6:1–14)
THE CHURCH
We believe the church is not a building, but all people who are redeemed by Jesus. The local church is a community of people joined together for the worship of God, discipleship, prayer, fellowship, evangelism, and celebrating baptisms and communion. (Ephesians 1:22–23, Matthew 28:19–20, Acts 2:41–47)
RESURRECTION
We believe there will be a bodily resurrection of all of humanity. Those who are with Christ receive eternal life with God, those who are not face the judgment of God. (1 Corinthians 15:20–23, John 5:28–29)
JESUS’ RETURN
Jesus will be coming again as He had promised. This is the hope of his people and an incentive to holy living and faithful service. (Hebrews 10:37, Luke 21:27, Titus 2:11–14)
